The Hautboy

The Hautboy is a wonderful Gothic building overlooking the cricket green in the picturesque village of Ockham. We have one restaurant, a large bar, five character bedrooms and a one acre garden.

The Hautboy Hotel at Ockham was built in 1864 by William, 1st Earl of Lovelace, Lord Lieutenant of Surrey and owner of Ockham Park. It replaced the old Hautboy and Fiddle Inn at Bridge End, Ockham, which the Earl had acquired in 1833, when the previous owner went bankrupt. Lovelace adopted the rather fanciful neo-gothic architectural style which he used for his property throughout the area.

The Inn On The Green

Dating back to the 15th century, The Inn On The Green (formerly The Red Lion) is a very popular public house and restaurant set in the heart of the beautiful Surrey Hills on Stane Street, opposite Ockley village green.

Ockley is 8 miles from Dorking and 10 miles from Horsham in West Sussex.

The Inn combines "olde worlde" charm with a contemporary outlook and the enthusiastic staff are a mine of knowledge about the local area, including the ghost stories associated with the pub!

The Inn On The Green is recommended in the Good Pub Guide and offers superb bar food a wide range of beers, excellent en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation, regular live music and a large, enclosed rear garden with a children's play area and plenty of room for your dog.

The pub and the restaurant are available for private hire and are popular venues for weddings and other celebrations.

The Riverside Vegetarian

Quietly situated on the Kingston High Street overlooking the River Thames is "Britain’s Best Vegetarian Restaurant”, awarded by the Vegetarian Society. Otherwise known as the Riverside Vegetaria, we have been established since 1989, and we are the only vegetarian restaurant you can find in the Kingston area. Our cosmopolitan menu is specialised so that it consists of a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and wheat-free dishes. The Wheatsheaf

The Wheatsheaf offers a wide ranging menu served by Silver service staff. They have a fantastic wine menu including claret, chardonnay & champagne. The Wheatsheaf Inn is a very atmospheric pub.

Locally sourced produce, excellent fish and game, and a strong vegetarian menu. Delicious homemade desserts and ice creams created by their award winning chef. Their beautiful patio garden is now open.

We have all dined there previously and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Trevi Restaurant

Why TREVI? The name is inspired by the world famous fountain 'La Fontana di Trevi', regarded as one of the most beautiful fountains in the world. It has been featured in numerous films - the most memorable perhaps being 'Three Coins in a Fountain'. Legend has it, that if you throw a coin in the water on the last day of your visit, someday you will return to Rome. Of course Toni wouldn't begin to draw comparisons with this magnificent Italian tourist attraction. However he is extremely confident that once you have visited the TREVI Restaurant and have enjoyed some of the most delicious food & wines, you will want to return, again and again!

Lunch is served between midday and 2pm... We have a superb lunch menu - come in and entertain your business clients or pop in for a light snack with a cappuccino or a glass of wine - the choice is yours...

Dinner is served from 6.30pm, with last orders at 10pm. We have a wonderful al la carte menu which is accompanied with a specials menu which can change daily according to what Toni picks up from the market.

We also have a set Sunday lunch menu that again changes weekly according to what is bought from the market.
