La Capanna
Opened in 1978, La Capanna was created from an old 16th century Sussex farmhouse rebuilt behind the façade of 17th century cottage, located at the end of Cobham high street. The result is an Italian restaurant of great character; exposed beams, whose origins were a 16th century trading ship, rise up to the high ceilings, and contribute to the relaxed, rustic atmosphere.
To enhance your dining experience you may choose between three inside dining areas: the dining room, the minstrel gallery and the conservatory, or you may wish to sit outside on the garden terrace, overlooking the River Mole.
Our head chef, Mark Bandzi, delights in presenting a wide ranging menu of traditional Italian cooking, from across a number of regions, to suit every taste. This is accompanied by an extensive Italian wine list, as well as a more International selection.
