Sandown Park offers a racing experience unlike any other racecourse. The stunning location within the park, together with the course’s famous uphill finish and magnificent views, combine to create a theatrical atmosphere full of excitement and nail-biting close finishes. With a unique ambience that comes from the closeness you feel to the racing, you are able to see every single minute of the action.

Betfred Gold Cup – 27th & 28th April
You are invited to a unique event in the racing calendar – the final outing for the top jumpers, and a glittering start to the fat season.

The famous Betfred Gold Cup meeting is your chance to watch the cream of the jump season’s horses and their riders, as well as the up coming stars of the 2007 flat season. The Gold Cup is always a close - run thing - and close is what Sandown Park is all about. With two pre-race parade areas and our unique Horsewalk, only the jockeys get closer to the horses than you do.

The many bars and restaurants serve everything from Guinness to champagne, tasty snacks to fine cuisine. And on Saturday, there’s live music from the incredible Bootleg Beatles, who’ve played more gigs than the real ones.
